Here’s something about operating income module in our system; there are 3 parts [Invoice, Revenue, Debit notes] explained below:
On the left navigation bar, under accounting system, click on Income and you’ll get the above-mentioned options.
Invoice
Upon clicking on invoice, you’ll find the list of invoices with below explained options:

The list will have invoices which are created from this module and also the ones where proposals are converted into invoices.
You can directly search from the list of existing invoices by entering the criteria and clicking on search button. Also, to get the full list again, clear search option is available.
Create: You can create a new invoice by entering the required details like Customer name, dates, category, items, amount, etc. You can manually add items in the invoice using the “add item button”
Export: In order to download the list of invoices, you can click on this button
Invoice ID: To view the details of the particular invoice and update the invoice status you can click on this button. Other options such as receipt reminder, resend invoice and download invoice are also found here.
Link: In order to get an Invoice link to add into any email or to directly open in browser without logging in, click on this button. This link has download and pay now options.
The pay now option gives multiple payment gateway options to choose from in order to make the invoice payment.
Duplicate: this option helps create the copy of same invoice with same details; in case you have another person, who purchased same items as some existing
customer, you can directly duplicate the existing invoice and change update the name of the customer.
View: To view the details of the particular invoice and update the invoice status you can click on this button. Other options such as receipt reminder, resend invoice and download invoice are also found here.
Edit: You can edit any existing invoice by changing the existing details like Customer name, dates, category, items, amount, etc. You can manually add items in the invoice using the “add item button”
Delete: to delete the particular invoice record, click on this button.
Template changes in download invoice:
The template of the downloaded invoice PDF can be changed from settings. In the left navigation bar, under the Accounting System, you’ll find Print Settings. Upon clicking on it, you’ll get the options to edit proposal print template, invoice print template and bill print template.
Select Invoice print Setting and in there you’ll get:
- List of templates to choose from [dropdown],
- Color input [for theme color],
- Option to upload invoice logo,
- Layout view of invoice, and
- Option to save the template to be used by default in the system
Revenue
If any customer is paying off you off the platform i.e. not making the payment via your system or is someone is paying by cash, this module helps in generating records for such payments.

The list will have the revenue entries of the off-the-platform payments with below options:
You can directly search from the list of existing entries by entering the criteria and clicking on search button. Also, to get the full list again, clear search option is available.
Create: you can create the new revenue entry by entering the below details:
- Date
- Amount
- Account [i.e. bank account or cash]
- Customer [select the customer]
- Description
- Category
- Reference
- Payment receipt [upload]
Upon entering the above details; click on create
Search/ clear search: you can search from the existing list of entries by entering below search criteria:
- Date
- Account [select account]
- Customer [select customer]
- Category [select category]
Download: Upon clicking on this button, you can download the uploaded receipt
View: You can view the uploaded receipt from here.
Edit: You can edit the details of the created entry from here.
Delete : You can delete the entry record from here.
Credit notes
Credit notes are used when extra discount needs to be given on top of the default discount in order to adjust the amount in the invoice/ receipt.
In the left navigation bar, under accounting system, click on invoice and select credit notes. You’ll find the below screen with list of credit notes and operating options on credit notes.

Create: you can create a new credit note by entering the below details:
- Invoice: Select the invoice for which credit note is to be created
- Amount: Enter the amount of the credit note value to be used in invoice
- Date: Enter the date of credit note creation
- Description: Enter the reason for the credit note generation
Upon entering the above details, click on create.
Credit note/ Invoice ID: To view the details of the particular invoice and update the invoice status you can click on this button. Other options such as receipt reminder, resend invoice and download invoice are also found here.
Edit: This option will help to edit the credit note values.
Delete: This option will help to delete the particular credit note.
