Business Process Mapping Integration in Dash SaaS

Introduction

The Business Process Mapping add-on allows you to create and manage visual flowcharts that represent your business processes and workflows. It helps you document step-by-step procedures for different business activities and link them with specific Projects, Tasks, Leads, Deals, Properties, or Contracts.

By using Business Process Mapping, organizations can standardize operations, improve internal communication, and ensure that processes are followed consistently across teams.

How to Use The Business Process Mapping Add-On?

Business Process Mapping

To create a new business process mapping, click the Create button at the top of the Business Process Mapping page. Enter a Title that clearly identifies your business process. Add a Description explaining the purpose and scope of the process. In the Related To field, select the module you want to connect this process with: Project, Task, Lead, Deal, Property, Contract, Other (for custom processes) After selecting the related module and items, click Save to create the business process mapping.

The list page provides Search, and Filters options at the top to help you manage business process mappings easily. The table displays the following columns: Related To Shows the module and sub-module associated with the process, Title Displays the name of the business process, Related Items Shows the connected records, such as projects or tasks, and Actions.

Each business process mapping includes multiple actions that allow you to manage and share your processes effectively. Click Send Email to send process details via email. You can enter multiple recipient email addresses, customize the subject and message, and send the process link directly to participants.

Click Copy Link to generate and copy a public shareable link for the business process mapping. This link allows anyone to view the process without logging in.

Click Edit Flowchart to modify the flowchart structure, including process steps and connections.

Click Show to view the visual flowchart of the business process in read-only mode and understand how the steps are connected. Also you can show email history in mail sent or not, sent by, recipients, and Message.

Click Edit to update basic information such as the title, description, related module, or related items. Click Delete to permanently remove the business process mapping from the system.

Integration with Other Modules

When the Business Process Mapping add-on is enabled, a Business Mapping button appears in the following modules:

• Project
• Lead
• Deal
• Property
• Contract

Clicking this button opens the Business Process Mapping page and automatically displays only the processes related to the selected item, making it easy to view all associated workflows.
