How to Use the Event Management Add-On?

Once you purchase and install the Event Management Add-On, go to the sidebar and search for the Event Management Add-On. You will get to see many pages over there

Exploring the Event Dashboard Analytics

After configuration, sync transactions by following these steps:

  • Once the Event Management Add-On has been purchased and installed, the first step is to navigate to the Event Dashboard located within the main dashboard section.
  • The Event Dashboard not only offers access to event booking links but also provides a comprehensive overview of current statistics such as the total number of events created, the number of bookings received, and the number of available categories.
  • A visual representation in the form of a pie chart displays the event count based on order data, helping you understand which events are performing better in terms of bookings.
  • A bar graph illustrates booking trends month by month, giving you insights into seasonal demand and user behavior over time.
  • Additionally, a line chart at the bottom of the dashboard shows a breakdown of event bookings according to different event categories, making it easier to assess category-wise popularity.

Events

  • To start managing events, go to the Event Management section from the sidebar where the Events page is the first tab you’ll see, allowing you to view, create, and manage all your events in one place.
  • To create a new event, click on the “Create” button provided at the top of the page, and enter key information such as the event title, subtitle, venue name, category, ticket price, a poster image, and a detailed description of the event.
  • In the timing section on the same page, you can specify the date, start time, and end time of the event, and if required, add multiple dates and time slots for recurring or multi-session events.
  • Once events are created, they will appear in a structured list format that includes all necessary details and an action column where you can copy the event link, edit any part of the event, or delete it entirely if it is no longer needed.

Event Booking

  • The Event Bookings page allows you to manually create backend bookings by clicking on the “Create” button and filling in all relevant details, such as the selected event, number of attendees, preferred date and time, and the attendee’s contact information.
  • Once submitted, the booking will be listed on the page along with all previously recorded entries, where you can view, update, or delete them as required.

Event Booking Order

  • The Event Booking Orders page displays all bookings made from the frontend by users, showing a list of orders with complete details like order ID, name of the attendee, selected event, number of persons, total price, type of payment, and current payment status (successful or unsuccessful).
  • From this list, you can access each entry to view payment receipts, delete entries, or download receipts for record-keeping or administrative use.

System Setup

Event Categories

  • The final section within the Event Management Add-On is the System Setup page, where you can create and manage different event categories to better organize your events based on themes, topics, or audiences.
  • To create a new category, simply click on the “Create” button and provide a suitable name for the category, upload a representative image to visually distinguish it, and select a color tag to make it easier to identify across the system.
  • These categories will then be available while creating events, helping you maintain a consistent structure and filtering system for your entire event ecosystem.

Accessing the Event Dashboard & Booking from the Frontend

  • The first step is to navigate to the Event Dashboard located within the main dashboard section.
  • At the top of the Event Dashboard, you will see a dedicated link that you can copy and share, which leads to the front-end interface where users can view and book events.

  • Upon visiting this link, users will be able to browse through all available event categories, select a specific event they are interested in, choose the preferred date and time slot, and proceed with the booking process.
  • To book an event, users must click on the “Get Ticket Now” button and provide their name, email address, mobile number, number of persons attending, and choose the payment mode—either offline or online—based on their convenience.
