This system allows administrators to design custom certificate templates using a built-in editor with dynamic elements, media management, and background customization features. Users can assign certificates to individuals from the user database and automatically generate personalized PDF certificates. The platform includes template management capabilities, user assignment features, and certificate distribution tools that streamline the entire certificate creation and distribution process for educational institutions, corporate training programs, and professional organizations.

How to Use the Digital Certificate Add-On?

Certificate Templates

• To create a new certificate template, click the “Create” button on the certificate templates page. This will open the certificate editor with several menu options to design your template. In the General menu, add the certificate template name that will identify your template.
• Use the Templates menu to view all previously created template designs for reference or modification. Access the Media menu to upload images and view all uploaded media files that can be used in your certificate design.
• Navigate to the Elements menu to add dynamic elements that will automatically populate with user information and insert custom text blocks into your template. Use the Background menu to upload background images and view all available background options for your certificate design.
• The list page displays all certificate templates with columns showing No, Preview, and Name. You can switch between standard table view and Grid View to see templates in a visual grid format. Use the search function to find specific templates or export the template list.
• Available actions include Download to save the template in PDF format, View to see the complete template design, Edit to modify the template using the certificate editor, and Delete to remove the template from the system.

Certificates

• To create a new certificate assignment, click the “Create” button on the certificates page. Select the user you want to assign the certificate to from the Assigned To field, which pulls from the list of existing users.
• Choose the appropriate Certificate Template from the available templates created in the Certificate Templates section. After selecting the template, all the dynamic fields and elements from that template will automatically appear in the form, allowing you to customize the specific content for this certificate assignment.
• The list page shows all certificate assignments with columns displaying No, Avatar showing the user’s profile picture, Assigned To showing the recipient’s name, Email displaying the user’s email address, and Certificate Template showing which template was assigned.
• You can search for specific certificates or export the certificate list. Available actions include Download to generate and save the assigned certificate in PDF format, View to see the complete certificate details, Edit to modify the certificate assignment or content, and Delete to remove the certificate assignment from the system.
• The assigned certificate will be shown to the user when they log in, and they can download it and preview it.
