The Social Media Analytics Add-On allows you to connect your YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook accounts to your system and track all important metrics in one place. Once configured, this Add-On helps you monitor your audience growth, post performance, engagement trends, and other useful data through clear charts, lists, and summaries. From subscriber and follower counts to reactions, views, and story insights, the Add-On provides a complete view of your social media performance across platforms. This documentation will guide you through setting up the Add-On, entering the required credentials, and using the different dashboards to understand your social media impact more effectively.

How to Use the Social Media Analytics Add-On?

  • After purchasing the Add-On, go to the System Setup page of Social Media Analytics where you’ll find the option to connect your social media accounts.
  • On this setup page, you need to fill in the login details (called credentials) for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to start using the Add-On.

System Setup

  • For Facebook, you need to enter your Facebook Client ID and Facebook Access Token to let the system fetch your data.
  • For Instagram, you must provide your Instagram Client ID, Facebook Client ID, and Instagram Access Token to connect your account.
  • For YouTube, you’ll need to enter your Google Client ID, Google Client Secret, and Google Redirect URL to link your YouTube channel.
  • You can also easily do Google authentication of your YouTube channel using your Google account with the help of the Google Auth button available on the setup page.

YouTube Analytics

  • After entering your details, click on the YouTube page where you can view total subscribers, total likes, total dislikes, number of videos, total comments, and total views.
  • Just below the numbers, you will see different charts that show how your videos are doing, which videos got more likes or dislikes, and how many views your videos are getting each day.
  • There is also a chart that shows how many subscribers are from each country and a list showing the number of subscribers from each country.
  • At the bottom of the page, you can also see how many male and female viewers you have and view this information in the form of pie charts.

Instagram Analytics

  • On the Instagram page, you will see your total engagement, total number of followers, total comments, total posts, total photos, and total videos.
  • Below this, you will find charts that show how fast your audience is growing and how well your posts are performing over time.
  • You can also check your Instagram story insights, which will be shown in both chart and list format to help you understand how people interact with your stories.
  • Toward the end of the page, you can see your total likes, saves, shares, views, story count, number of tags, and a list that shows where your most active audience comes from.

Facebook Analytics

  • The Facebook page shows you the number of fans, how many people reacted to your posts, the number of comments, messages, and which type of posts (like images, links, or videos) are working well.
  • You can also find information about which languages your audience speaks the most so you can plan your content better.
  • There are useful charts that show how many people clicked on your posts weekly and over 28 days, along with total impressions during the same periods.
  • At the bottom of the Facebook page, you will see charts showing your total page actions, total impressions, and how your number of fans has grown over time.
