Pick a server that meets your product's requirements shown above. Most WorkDo products need SSH access to run installation commands, so a VPS or cloud server is the safest choice. BookingGo, eCommerceGo and TicketGo have lighter requirements and can run on simpler hosting that provides PHP 8.2 and the listed extensions.
Most WorkDo products need at least 4GB RAM. Products with Add-Ons start at 6GB and grow with Add-Ons - 8GB for 20 Add-Ons, 10GB for 50, 12GB for 100, 16GB for 150, and 32GB for 300 or more.
Most products need at least 10GB. Products with Add-Ons start at 12GB and increase with Add-Ons, up to 264GB for very large installs. Always leave extra space for uploads and backups.
PHP 8.3 or newer for Dash and most WorkDo products. BookingGo, eCommerceGo and TicketGo require PHP 8.2 or newer. Every product also needs a specific set of PHP extensions, listed above.
Dash and most WorkDo products need Node.js 20 or newer and Composer 2 or newer, because assets are built on the server during installation. BookingGo, eCommerceGo and TicketGo do not require them.
Yes for Dash and most products - installation runs commands on the server. Confirm your hosting plan allows SSH before purchasing, as many entry-level shared plans do not.
Yes, you can use shared hosting for WorkDo products, but we recommend a VPS for better performance and flexibility. Shared hosting may have limitations on resources, server configuration, SSH access, Node.js, Composer, and other requirements needed for smooth installation and operation.
The built-in installer checks your server first and reports anything missing. You can upgrade your plan, ask your host to enable what is missing, or use our installation service and we will review your server and set everything up for you.
